Teacher of Year 5 needed
Full time position to run from February until July potential of becoming permanent
Full Teaching responsibilities are expected
We are currently working with a Primary School based in Greenwich that is in need of a Teacher of KS2 to cover a long term sickness, the role will begin in the february half term and will until the end of the academic year, at which point the role may become permanent.
The School are in need of a Teacher that has experience of Teaching the current KS2 Curriculum, with specific focus on year 5. As a result applicants must have experience and knowledge of teaching the KS2 Curriculum in a previous teaching role, this includes experience of planning and preparing the lessons.
Behaviour is not an issue in the class that the successful applicant will be taking over, so applicants are not expected to have strong behaviour management although this would be admired. The main attribute that the school are looking for is the ability to build strong and supportive relationships with both staff and students right from day one, the school put a big focus on a "Team Ethos", so applicants will be expected to be good team players that are happy to support other staff members and students.
