A vibrant and diverse school in East London is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their Year 5 class.

The school are seeking a learning support assistant to join their Year 5 class. Your role will be to work 1:1 with a child who has high functioning autism. You will encourage him to work to his full potential while providing a safe and secure environment. You will also be required to assist the class teacher in delivering lessons alongside the national curriculum, by preparing resources and ensuring that every child’s needs are catered to. The school are looking for someone who is able to use their own initiative and is enthusiastic about working with children. Previous experience workinh with children with SEN is highly desirable.
