Horizon Teachers is currently working with an excellent friendly, high achieving school in Newham who is looking for a teacher of RE to join their successful Humanities department from January 2019. This role is a Temporary teaching position until July 2019. There may be the opportunity for a permanent position in September 2019. The successful teacher must be able to teach RE up to and including key stage 4 and hold valid QTS. The ability to offer another Humanities subject would be looked upon well but is not essential.

The school wish to appoint an Outstanding Teacher of RE who will be able to deliver high quality lessons to all students. They require teachers to hold QTS and have recent teaching experience. The school would accept applications from newly qualified teachers as well as experienced RE teachers.

The Head of Humanities is looking for a teacher who will be able to integrate well into the department and deliver high quality lessons including teaching the popular GCSE course.

For this position the school require teachers applying to;
• Hold valid QTS or hold an overseas teaching qualification.
• Be able to teach RE up to KS4.
• Be dynamic and professional in their approach to teaching.
• Be able to work in a team and collaboratively with other teachers.
• Have recent teaching experience in a secondary school
