Horizon Teachers is currently working with a good rated secondary school in New Barnet who is looking to appoint an energetic and enthusiastic teacher of PE to help take the provision for sport into a new phase of its life, there is enormous potential and talent in their student body which includes a number of highly accomplished performers in a range of sports.
The school is well equipped with a sports hall, activity studio, fully-equipped gym, hard court area and large all-weather pitch they also expect by summer 2018 to have secured exclusive use of two grass pitches adjoining the school site.

To be considered for this role you must have the following;
- Evidence of teaching P.E from KS3-KS5 standards
- Hold a valid QTS or be overseas trained
- Strong passion for physical education
- A proven record of class progression
- Experience of teaching engaging lessons on a daily basis.
Your daily duties will consist of the following;
- Planning and delivering P.E lessons to the highest standard
- Establishing and maintaining discipline in class
- Being a positive role model for students at all times
- Monitoring student progression on a daily basis
- Positive environment which students can learn
- Liaising with head of department when required
- Attending school assemblies and parent days
The salary in place for this fantastic opportunity is £26,662 - £37,645 dependant on experience, this job is due to start in September 2018 or sooner should you be available.
