We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Music Teacher to work in a popular school in Brent.

The Music Department is a busy, thriving department where students enjoy composing, performing and listening to music. In lessons, students learn to play a range of instruments from the keyboard to African drums and recently have been given the opportunity to learn how to use music technology.  Recently the students have attended a concert at the Royal Festival Hall, trips to the London Coliseum courtesy of the English National Opera and there are a lot more exciting plans in place for the end of this year/ start of next year.

If interested in this role you must have the following:

- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or overseas trained.

- PGCE in Music or degree level equivalent

- Extensive experience teaching KS3 – KS5

- Experience in a secondary school within the last two years

- Excellent subject knowledge

- Proven track record of raising attainment and keeping standards high

£30,000 - £44,000 per annum
