This fabulous school in East London is looking to appoint a teacher of Girls PE who is able to teach Girls PE at KS3 and 4 as well as Mixed PE at KS5. This is a full time one year position and the school are looking for someone who is able to start in June 2019. There may be the opportunity for a Permanent contract after the first year.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher of Girls PE to join this diverse inner London mixed secondary school. The PE department is an enthusiastic and incredibly successful team led by an experienced head of department who has built an inclusive and hardworking team of teachers. The department who deliver a wide range of sports at the school through a well-designed and resourced curriculum. The school offer BTEC at KS4 and 5, results are high and the subject is oversubscribed each year.

The facilities at the school are excellent for an inner London school and the school also make use of some of Inner Londons best facilities. Lessons are taught across the school and facilities at the school have been designed to deliver a wide range of sports. The school also has use of large playing fields which are used in lessons and for fixtures throughout the year. Activities taught in lessons are seasonal and depend on the year group. Lessons are taught in single sex groups and the successful teacher will be teaching girls PE.

This role would suit a teacher qualifying in 2019 or an experienced teacher looking for a new role.
