An outstanding Secondary Academy in Lewisham are seeking a creative, engaging and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join their established department in September 2019. The ideal candidate will inspire students and contribute to the continuing development of the English curriculum and department. Students make strong progress and achieve well. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the SLT are committed to offering CPD. There are excellent transport links nearby as well as parking on site.  This is a wonderful opportunity for a passionate Teacher of English to an outstanding School from September 2019.

As a Teacher of English you will:

This forward thinking specialist unit for pupils with Social, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties are seeking an enthusiastic Head of English to start a permanent position to start in September . The role would be to lead the Department. The school caters for pupils who have been excluded from mainstream schools and offers respite for those who are at risk of being excluded. The focus is on supporting and enabling children to return to mainstream education. The children at this school may have gaps in their learning so the attention will be on closing those gaps, often through non-class based learning.
