JOB DESCRIPTION

Horizon Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate and engaging full-time Teacher of Drama to join a large and flourishing Secondary school in Greenwich. The post will involve teaching across Key Stages 3 to 5 and the school wishes to appoint a first class teacher that delivers outstanding lessons. You will be joining a well-established department that is supportive and encouraging. This post is an excellent opportunity and particularly suitable for an ambitious teacher seeking progression. The school is rated Good by Ofsted and has a vibrant, harmonious and supportive learning environment.

We are looking for a Teacher of Drama who:

  • Holds QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree
  • is passionate about Drama with the ability to inspire students
  • teaches consistently high quality lessons across KS3-5
  • can demonstrate excellent teaching and classroom management skills
  • has the ability to build strong rapport with all students and adults
  • has a commitment to developing curriculum activities within faculty
