A small and friendly primary school based in South West London are currently looking for a SENDCO to join them in January 2020, the position will be long term, therefore the school are looking for someone who can commit to the development of the school.
The school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and outstanding SENDCO to join the team for 3 days per week. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a senior leadership team which strives for excellence for all pupils. The successful candidate will have knowledge of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and a flexible approach to teaching and learning.The school can offer:

oExperience of whole class teaching
oExperience of successfully leading intervention groups
oSuccess with tracking pupil progress and identifying specific learning needs of pupils
oExperience of delivering support and training to support staff and teachersYou will also be expected to:
• have shared responsibility with the SLT for the School Development Plan
• ensure information advice and support is provided to parents about their child's progress and development
- Write an annual SEND/INCLUSION action plan, monitor and evaluate it against the success criteria and use this to identify future priorities for development as part of the school development plan.
- Write a brief report annually, for the Governing Body evaluating developments and achievements of the above.
