SEN Specialist Learning Support Assistant

A School for children aged 4-19 with ASD & Multiple Learning Difficulties, some of whom also have an additional diagnosis of autism based in South East London are seeking an experienced Special Education Needs Learning Support Mentor to start in the January term. This role is Long term, 5 days a week and full time.

This Specialist School is an all-through school for pupils aged 4-19 with a Statement of Special Educational Need. The school has an extensive site, complete with sensory rooms, swimming pool, play areas, outside play spaces and soft play areas and is a vibrant and exciting place to work
Pupils follow a curriculum that incorporates individual learning needs and offers a learning environment that is engaging and fun. The curriculum is topic focused and pupils engage in learning through exciting new themes, lessons are linked to the theme and support learning across all subject areas.
This school has a very supportive leadership team, who is enthusiastic and treats every child as unique. The Head teacher will spend time with the pupils to get to know their needs as well as work with the staff to make sure every learning experience is as positive as possible for the children.
