Secondary Teachers

We are looking for Secondary Supply Teachers to work in London based schools starting in September 2017.

PRU GCSE Maths Teacher

£130 - £220 per day
PRU GCSE Maths Teacher A committed, dedicated and experienced qualified Maths Teacher who can teach up to GCSE level is needed from September 2018 to take on a full time and long term to perm role. The school provides education for students aged 11 to 16 who have been permanently excluded from mainstream school. They are taught in groups of normally no more than seven. Students also attend College Courses in Year 11 and in the majority of cases, students arrive at school with an educational history disrupted by several fixed term exclusions, permanent exclusion and possibly several changes of school. Music Teacher - Permanent role in 2018

Daily Supply Teaching

Horizon Teachers is currently looking for Secondary School Teachers to work from September.  Horizon Teachers due to an increased demand is now looking to add to the teachers it is working with. We offer a great rate of pay to all our teachers and continued support throughout your time working for Horizon Teachers. As a successful supply teacher it is important to have effective classroom and behaviour management. You must also have excellent rapport building skills with students and be able to following lesson plans. Supply teaching can be an ideal way to supplement your income while setting your own schedule. It also allows you to improve your classroom skills as you try out different schools, year groups and methods. Horizon Teachers can introduce you to a large number of secondary schools in North London. After proving your abilities as a supply teacher, you may also be offered a full-time job and we have found that many of our teachers are offered longer term roles at the school they work in.
