The role is a Food Technology Technician and will be a part time, term time only position supporting lessons in the Food Technology department. The hours will be 20 hours spread over 4 days so may suit someone looking to return to work or someone with other commitments. You will be working with a team of excellent technology teachers and be responsible for the organisation and preparation of the Food Technology area. Technicians organise teaching materials, provide assistance in lessons and organises resources including placing orders. The facilities and resources are outstanding and include interactive whiteboards in all classrooms. The school has a dedicated Food Technology classroom which you will be responsible for. The ideal Food Technician will be;• Positive and forward looking• A team player who takes a pride in their work.• Organised and methodically minded in your work• Enthusiastic and hard working• Have experience in the catering world or have in school experience.This is an excellent opportunity and in return the school will offer an excellent induction programme.
