The Head Teacher and the SENCO (Special needs coordinator) are looking to change the support structure of the school and are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in the Science department. The school has a passion and commitment to raise pupil attainment through excellent support across the school. They looking to appoint a dynamic, passionate and committed Teaching Assistant to work alongside existing support staff in the Science department. You will be supporting students in Science throughout year 7 to 11.

The role is to support students within the Science department, this position would suit recent graduates with a Science degree. The ideal candidate should have a passion about Science and have a desire to support students and pass on their understanding to others. The school are looking for someone who is able to engage, motivate and work provocatively with all students. A teaching assistant who is able to enthuse about Science is essential.

The School itself is a mid-sized mixed school where pupils are valued and staff work well together to ensure good levels of progress are made.
