Our client, a lively, diverse and successful Academy in Lambeth is currently looking to recruit an experienced, qualified Science teacher to join their team. Having been graded ‘Good’ in their last Ofsted, it is stated that ‘Teaching is good and improving strongly because leaders at all levels have high expectations and routinely track the impact of teaching. The Academy are always looking to recruit dynamic Science teachers and support staff that will work together to continue pushing the school forward. The right candidate will be joining a dedicated Science faculty where you will work alongside a team of experienced and newly qualified teachers. Being a relatively new Academy, you will have fantastic facilities available to you and the students. There are clear guidelines set out within the science department to ensure pupils are kept on task and that their desired levels are met at the end of each year.
To be considered for interview, you will need to be British Trained (QTS) or an Overseas Trained Teacher (British equivalent). Experienced teachers and NQT’s are welcomed to apply for this role. The Academy prides themselves on striving to become more successful and look for teachers with the same mind-set. Teaching General Science to KS4 is a requirement for this role – this could have been in your qualification placements.
