Horizon Teachers is recruiting Science Graduates for Teaching Assistant Vacancies in London's Secondary Schools NOW!! 

These schools are mainstream, secondary schools that are graded either 'Outstanding' or 'Good' by Ofsted, and are located in each part of London... for example: East London (Tower Hamlets and Newham), South East London (Southwark, Lewisham and Bromley), South West and West London (Hounslow, Hammersmith and Wandsworth), North West London (Wembley), and North London (Islington and Enfield). 

As a Science Teaching Assistant you will work mainly in the Science department. Your role will include a combination of 1-2-1 support in Science classes to SEN pupils; withdrawing these pupils from class for small booster sessions; leading small Science groups supporting pupils make progress; getting involved in Science clubs. Your timetable could also include supporting in other subject classes too. Your timetable will ultimately be decided by the School's SENCo. TA roles in secondary schools are very varied and with all the departments, there are always opportunities to do new things, challenging yourself, and growing and learning at the same time. These roles are now part of the relied upon 'career model' for 100s of future Science Teachers, so if you are thinking about Teacher Training in 2019..get in touch! 

These roles are all ongoing, starting in September 2018, and continuing all academic year. Pay for TAs starts at £65-70 per day, but can increase to as high as £95 a day.. all depending on the school's location/London weighting allowance, and your school's timetable.
