Psychology and Sociology Teacher

Horizon Teachers are looking for a teacher of psychology and Sociology to start in September 2020 at an Ofsted Good Secondary school in South West London. We are supporting the school in these difficult times and will be arranging video interviews as soon as applications are received.

The School seeks to appoint a highly motivated and committed teacher, with the ability to teach Psychology and Sociology A level, to join our supportive and successful Social Science and Enterprise department. The role has opened up due to the popularity of the subject and the oversubscribed current subject area.

The Social Science and Enterprise faculty comprise of Psychology, Sociology, Business, Economics, Health and Social Care and Children's Play, Learning and Development. The subject area is predominately sixth form based which enables the school to share cross curricular ideas for teaching and learning.

The Successful candidate will be:
• QTS qualified by the start date;
• Able to teach Psychology and Sociology at KS5
• interested in a teaching vocational curriculum
• enthusiastic and well organised;
• Be able to motivate and inspire students;
• Committed to working in a team;
• Have a commitment to their own personal development
