• Part Time - 4 days a week!

Horizon Teachers are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant with a Team Teach qualification to join a quality school in Camden as soon as possible, the school is specifically for children with challenging behaviour and/or Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH).

You will be responsible for supporting a Key Stage 1/2 class of around 5 students with Special Educational Needs. In the class there is SEMH, challenging behaviour and ASD, as the challenging behaviour is severe it is important to have Team Teach and also have experience using your qualification in the classroom. It will also be important that you have the skills to engage students and support them with core subjects as well as extracurricular activities such as sport.

• The ability to demonstrate positive behaviour management strategies
• Be reliable and committed to pupil development
• Have UK work experience supporting children with SEND
• Be patient and calm
• Be able to adapt quickly
