Primary SEN Teacher

A special school in Hounslow are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher to join their friendly and passionate staff team!

You will be responsible for a Year 1 Class. You will be a passionate teacher who aims to inspire each and every one of your pupils. Your role will be to focus on raising the aspirations of the pupils in your class, and enabling them to make excellent progress. You will also provide an environment where your pupils can feel comfortable and flourish.  Senior members of staff emphasise the importance of working collaboratively, and this is reflected in the support given to Teachers and Support Staff.

The school is committed to providing a nurturing and inspiring environment to all its pupils. Through learning, work and play, the staff team aim to encourage and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential and work to the best of their abilities. The broad and balanced curriculum aims to challenge pupils academically and provide life skills that will allow them to be independent members of the community. The staff team focus heavily on developing social skills that enhance pupils’ opportunities for success.

They have recently moved into a brand new building which caters specifically to the needs of the pupils at the school. The building offers state-of-the-art facilities, such as a play area with a climbing frame and swings, a reflections garden and football pitches. The school believes that children should be given the opportunity to develop a love for learning.

It is a permanent position to begin in September 2019.
