We are looking for an EAL Teaching Assistant to join a well-known Lewisham based secondary school from September 2019 for the academic year. The role will include working within the SEN/ EAL department supporting students across Key Stage 3 and 4. As well as having English as an additional language a number of students may also have additional learning needs. With guidance from the SENCO and languages department, you will work in partnership with class teachers to carry out adaptations for students and work on improving students English.

We are looking for an EAL Teaching Assistant who:
Has a degree (in languages is desirable)
Is fluent in a minimum of 3 languages (including English)
Has a proactive, enthusiastic and positive ‘can do’ attitude
Has excellent communication skills
Enjoys working with young people
Is adaptable and flexible
