A full-time Resource Base SEND Teacher needs to be able to do the following under the supervision of and reporting to the AHT (Inclusion):Run the Resources Bases day-to-day, including deploying all support staff to best meet the needs of the children;Plan and teach lessons and activities tailored to the children's needs that enable them to make good progress from their starting points towards their targets;Support teachers with planning and teaching Resource Based pupils in their mainstream classes;Take a key role in the Annual Review process, including attending meetings and providing high quality written reports;Communicate effectively to a range of audiences both orally and in writing, making positive partnerships with parents and carers;Have a clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection.To apply for this position, you must be a QTS holder, have experience teaching in both Mainstream and Special Needs Schools, be comfortable and confident teaching in Primary Schools and have experience of working in special, with autistic children, with children with complex SEND and in mainstream, needs excellent pedagogical knowledge and the ability to deploy staff effectively - Unfortunately, NQT's will not be considered for this role.
