Horizon Teachers is working with a large oversubscribed mixed secondary school in West London that are looking to appoint a Teacher of Media on a permanent basis starting on September 2021. This is a great opportunity to join a community school with a fine place in the local area.

The school are looking to appoint a well qualified and outstanding teacher of Media who will be able to work in this small but high performing department. The school currently have 2 media teachers, you will be teaching KS5 media.

The successful Media Teacher will be responsible for GCSE lessons as well as A Level Teaching. The school would welcome applications from experienced teachers.

The school is a large school in the southernmost part of the London Borough of Hillingdon. The school has gone through a period of transition and is now successful and oversubscribed, the number of students currently on roll exceeds the net capacity of the school. This oversubscribing has led to the need for additional staff and in particular the Science department.

If interested in this role you must have the following:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or overseas trained.
- PGCE in Media or a relative subject with a degree in a related subject
- Experience teaching KS4 and KS5 Media
- Experience in a secondary school within the last two years
- A willingness to play a full part in the life of the school.
