Are you an experienced science technician or a recent science graduate looking for an exciting new opportunity?
Horizon Teachers is currently working in a well-known academy in the borough of Redbridge who are looking for a science technician to join their team of staff.
The Academy is a non-denominational, non-selective school welcoming boys and girls from all background from the local community.

They set clear ambitious goals, and rigorously monitor their progress in achieving them, offer a curriculum emphasising core academic subjects, while providing the facilities and specialist staff to meet and stimulate a wider range of interests.
Your key responsibilities for this role will be to;
Assist with providing general maintenance of the science labs, including the care of services, laboratory equipment, working surfaces and reporting any repairs as appropriate for action.
To ensure that health and safety requirements and other relevant regulations are adhered to and observed.
To demonstrate specialist techniques and give advice to teachers and students.
To plan and carry out a complete stock take and a full inspection of apparatus and services on an annual basis under supervision of the lead technician.
