JOB DESCRIPTION

An exciting new position for a Nursery Teacher in a children’s centre has arisen.

You will have the responsibility of teaching and stimulating the interests of your nursery class through play and learning. You will be able to organise exciting and creative activities which will allow children to explore the environment around them. Your responsibilities will also include using play experiences to help children understand the benefits of a balanced lifestyle, such as keeping active and healthy eating.

The centre ensures that there are key staff who specialise in the different areas of learning, which in turn provides children with high quality teaching and learning experiences. They have a brilliant understanding of how young children learn and the centre provides an ample range of resources and activities which allow children to advance in their learning. Staff also effectively support the growth and development of each child by paying keen attention to their progress.

The successful candidate will

  • Be a creative individual who is enthusiastic about working with young children
  • Have excellent knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum
  • Be confident in your abilities to advance children’s learning through play
  • Have an Enhanced DBS and QTS
