Are you a passionate experience qualified Science teacher looking for a new and exciting challenge for 2018?

Horizon teachers is currently looking for a fully qualified experienced Science teacher with a real passion for the subject to work in a secondary school based in Ilford.

To be considered for this role you must have the following;

  • Experience of teaching Science to KS3/KS4 Standards
  • A Level qualification in Biology / Chemistry
  • A Degree in Chemistry or Biology
  • Hold a valid QTS or be overseas trained
  • A proven record of classroom progression
  • Experience of teaching engaging lessons on a daily basis


Your daily duties will consist of the following;

 

  • Planning and delivering science lessons to the highest standard
  • Establishing and maintaining discipline in the class
  • Being a positive role model at all times
  • Monitoring student progression on a daily basis
  • Assigning work, correcting and marking work carried out
  • Providing a positive environment in which students can learn
  • Liaising with senior staff when needed


The salary in place for this fantastic opportunity is £26,662 - £37,645 Dependant on experience, This role is due to start as soon as possible.
