Horizon teachers are currently working with a fantastic school in Barnet who are looking to appoint an outstanding Sociology teacher to join their school.  This is an exciting opportunity for an amazing and inspirational Sociology teacher to join a diverse and energetic school in a North West London school.  You will be teaching Sociology across GCSE and A Level and will be inspiring excellence in all students, as well as advising parents and pupils on progress and giving clear guidance for areas of strength and improvement.  You will also need to demonstrate a good subject knowledge of Key stage 4 and 5 Sociology in order to create the best environment for students to make good progress throughout lessons and the school year.   

The Sociology department has been teaching the subject as both a GCSE and an A Level course.  As a department, the results of external examinations have been consistently good and outstanding, and this is testament to the hard work and determination of the staff within the Sociology department who have worked hard to ensure they’re using the most cutting edge pedagogy to help students achieve their potential.
