A forward thinking Special School based in Harrow for young people aged between 4 to 19 years old who have severe to moderate learning difficulties are seeking someone who has a real passion for learning to join them as a full time PPA Teacher from January.

Teachers at this well-rounded Special School focus on creativity, learning life skills, high expectations and educating and supporting their pupils to become independent learners. They are lucky enough to have an impressive building that promotes well-being which is conducive to learning.

The school is made up of 16 classes each with a maximum of 8 pupils and 3 Teaching Support Assistants. All pupils learn on the Primary curriculum from P Scales – Level 1 NC and above. You will be joining two other PPA teachers. The Head of School is looking for a kind and caring practitioner with evidence of good to outstanding practice.

Primary MFL Teacher - Part time

A permanent position is available for an experienced MFL Teacher at a successful and popular Primary School in Islington, starting in September 2018. You will be working on a part time basis, for either 4 or 5 afternoons per week. The timetable has not yet been confirmed, so they are able to be flexible on this, and could offer mornings for the right person. The Role You will be delivering MFL lessons to the KS2 children during the Class Teacher's PPA time. You will be working with whole classes, but may occasionally do some small group work with children on an ad hoc basis. This year, the children in Years 3 to 6 have been learning Spanish. Part time Year 6 & Intervention Teacher
