Teacher of Food Technology

Salary - £145 - £200 per day 

This excellent, friendly, high achieving school in Essex is looking for a teacher of Food Technology to join their successful Design Technology department.. This role is a long term full time position. The successful teacher must be able to teach Food Technology up to and including key stage 4. The ability to offer another subject in Technology would be an advantage but is not essential.

The Head of DT wishes to appoint a dynamic and outstanding teacher of Food Technology who will be able to join this hardworking team of teachers. The department consists of 4 full time teachers and due to the current teacher gaining promotion to head of department at another school there is now a vacancy for a full time teacher of Food Technology. The timetable will be split betweenKS3 and GCSE lessons. Food Technology is a popular option at the school and results have been above 80% A-C in past years. The successful teacher must be a trained teacher and have experience of teaching and delivering outstanding lessons. The school will consider applications from both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers.
