Horizon Teachers is extremely excited to be working with this fantastic secondary school in Outer East London who are looking to appoint an Art and Design Teacher for September 2020. This role would be an excellent opportuinity for either an NQT, someone early in their teaching career looking for rapid progression or an experience Teacher of Art and Design.

The Head teacher is looking to employ a dedicated Art and Design Teacher who is able to enthuse, motivate and progress students of all ability. The DT department consists of Full time teachers and DT is currently taught by the Head of Department and one other teacher. The school is looking to expand this department to 4 full time member of staff from September 2020. 
 
Design Technology has an outstanding status at the school. The current Head of Department is passionate and Horizon Teachers has worked with them for a number of years. Staff in the department work collaboratively and share best practice. In recent years the standards in the department have been driven by the newly appointed head of department and the whole ethos has been transformed. Classrooms are well furnished and offers pupils the chance to use machinery for resistant materials and CAD/Cam.
