Horizon Teachers is looking for an experienced Office Manager for a fantastic academy in Wandsworth, London. You will have knowledge and experience using SIMs and to be responsible for general reception duties.
This role will start in August 2022
Main duties
•To supervise the day-to-day work of the administrative function of the school office
•To have full line management responsibility of the administration team including appraisals and performance management. Responsible for the continuing training and development of admin staff.
•To contribute towards the planning, development, and organisation of the support service systems, procedures, and policies
•To supervise, train and develop administrative staff as appropriate
•To undertake word processing, IT based tasks and school correspondence
•To provide personal, organisational, and administrative support to staff and the Governing Body
•To carry out first day attendance response, maintain records of absence/lateness and highlight any concerns to the senior leadership team
•Responsibilities will adapt depending on school requirements

The Successful Candidate
•Will need prior experience as an Office Manager (ideally in a school setting)
•Will be flexible and can work to changing demands
•Will be able to use SIMs
•Be proficient in Microsoft Office
•Excellent administrative experience
