A permanent opportunity is available at an Outstanding Nursery School in North London, starting in September.

The Nursery has a very holistic approach to learning and play, and ensure that the teaching and planning is very child centred.

ABOUT THE NURSERY SCHOOL
•Outstanding Nursery School who are often used as an example within the borough
• 78 FTE children across 2 Nursery classes
• 4 adults in each Nursery class, with 2 of these being Early Years Practitioners who will share responsibility for planning and learning journeys
• Large classroom with free flow outdoor and indoor areas
• Open during normal school hours, with the morning session beginning at 8:40am and the day finishing by 3:50pm
• Based in North London with excellent transport links

You will be working with a team of experienced early years professionals and will be responsible for managing the team.

The Headteacher is looking for a Nursery Teacher who:
• Is a qualified Teacher, with QTS
• Is experienced in working in Early Years, either in a Nursery or mainstream Primary School
• Is passionate about early years
• Has experience directing or managing support staff

The interview process will consist of a short activity, focused around a book, followed by an informal chat. Interviews are taking place on Wednesday 13th June.

Nursery & Reception Teaching Assistant

£60 - £70 per day
Job Description Nursery and Reception Teaching Assistant Start Date: As soon as the right person is found Location: Walthamstow Ofsted Good This inner-London school is searching for a Teaching Assistant to work with Early Years Foundation Pupils. The school endeavours to be a place where progress and attainment is fantastic, in a positive learning environment which allows pupils to develop. Providing a rich curriculum, the learning carefully balances pupil’s key skills. Senior leaders strive to constantly improve teaching and results, as can be seen by the above average progress scores. The post consists of working with SEN pupils, including those with Autism, Learning Difficulties, Global Delay and Behavioural Needs. You will be required to provide 1-2-1 support for a number of different children. The role is extremely rewarding and you will be aided every step of the way. Support Staff play a vital role in the school and receive a high level of support from all the teachers, including the Deputy Head teacher.
