A children's centre in Islington are seeking a qualified Nursery Nurse to join their team for a permanent role.

• You will be working in their Baby Room
• Salary- £19,200 - £21,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• A 36 hour working week Monday to Friday
• Rotating shift patterns of 8am-4pm or 10am-6pm
• 26 days holiday Bank Holidays

This is a large, full time centre that provides for children between 8am and 6pm. Staff follow a rotating shift pattern and are committed to supporting the child as a whole.
The centre has excellent facilities including a large outside area that every child can access and modern sensory rooms.

The Nursery runs alongside family services offered by the childrens centre for carers of children in the borough of Islington.
You will be supported by a dedicated leadership team with qualified and experienced senior staff to help you develop as a practitioner, additional training will be provided in areas such and speech and language

Ideally we are looking for applicants who:
• Have a relevant childcare qualification- NVQ, NNEB, Childhood/education studies degree
• Ideally have experience in a nursery setting
• Have excellent EYFS knowledge
• Be an enthusiastic nursery practitioner who works well in a team
• Be confident in your abilities to engage children and extend their learning through play

Nursery Nurse

£9 - £15 per hour
A position has become available for a fully qualified Nursery Nurse to work in Nursery School and Children's Centre based in North London. The role is based in the Children's Centre with staff who is fully committed to the progression of the centre. You will be required to work with Children between the ages of 3-5 on a full time basis. Our ideal candidate will be a qualified Nursery Nurse and have the ability to conduct observations. Responsibilities will include personal care duties such as feeding and changing. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working with Early Years and have an up to date knowledge of the EYFS. You are required to have a qualification to work as a Nursery Nurse; such as a CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 2 / NNEB, a degree in Early Childhood Studies, or an equivalent qualification. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must and you should be confident in your ability to support SEN children and children with English as an additional language (EAL). The Children Centre has fantastic transport links, a very short walk from their nearest underground station in under 10 minutes. The position is to start in September 2020.
