Nursery Nurse

• Nursery School and Children's Centre based in Wood Green
• Nursery class (3 to 4 year olds)
• Full Time hours - 8.15am to 4pm Monday to Friday term time only
• Close to Tottenham Court Road station
• Long Term position until the end of the academic year

The school are seeking a qualified Nursery Nurse, with a minimum level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent, who has a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and experience of Key Worker responsibilities, observations and report writing. Applicants with a good working knowledge of Special Educational Needs will be preferred.
The position is due to start on 21st November but the School are willing to wait for the right person.

There is also the opportunity for applicants to gain Short Term work in this setting to cover staff sickness which enables you to see the setting first hand before committing on a Long Term basis.

This is a Multicultural, Inclusive setting which positively welcomes all children and families. It is also a high-achieving Nursery School which achieved a "Good" rating in its previous OFSTED inspection (February 2015). The School has a Children's Centre attached which caters for children from Babies up to Pre-School age groups. Applicants can expect to work as part of a friendly, close team of staff where new starters are given support to settle into the School.

The Nursery Nurse will take on a group of Key children for whom they will Plan Activities on a weekly basis, carry out regular formal Observations and write Reports on these. Planning is carried out individually so there is a high expectation for Nursery Nurses to be creative and have a good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum. Activities will take place indoors as well as in their large outdoor play area.
