JOB DESCRIPTION

An award winning Nursery School in North London are seeking a Nursery Nurse to work with children aged 18 months through to the Pre-School.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in an Outstanding' early years setting where the leadership team encourage career progression and map out a path for you to develop your career in childcare. This particular setting are renowned for their outstanding facilities, excellent resources and a curriculum for the children that includes, Music, P.E, Drama and Little Scientists.

This is a full time role working the hours of 8am - 5pm. You will be required to build relationships with a small group of children and their families. Keep track of their learning journeys, ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times. You will have the responsibility of doing observations and activity planning for key children.

What you will need to be considered for this role:

• A relevant childcare qualification-NNEB, BTEC, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare
• Passion and enthusiasm for children and childcare
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good communication skills both orally and written
• Excellent organisational skills

Desirable skills and experience:

• 6 months - 1 years' experience working in Early Years
• Experience doing observations and report writing
• Supporting children with Speech and Language needs
This is a permanent position starting ASAP and paying between £18,000 to £23,000 depending on experience. This nursery have very high standards of their staff and want the best possible support for the children.

Horizon Teachers are looking for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse for an exciting opportunity, working with a Nursery School and Children's Centre in Lambeth. ABOUT THE ROLE• Term time only • 35 hours per week• 8:30am to 4:30pm with 1 hour for lunch • Working with the 2-3 year olds • Relaxed dress code The position is available for an ASAP start, but they are happy to wait up to 1 month for the right person.
