This inner London mixed academy located in Hackney is looking for a talented, forward thinking outstanding teacher of Music to join their large Performing arts department.

The school gives students opportunities to be successful and to flourish, both now and in the future, It is their aim from day one, to get to know their students and to work with them to tailor their education so that they progress, develop the courage to take risks and aspire to achieve. Through close links with their primary schools, the local community and parents they make sure that they are able to support and inspire each individual student, whether that be through achieving academic excellence, a personal interest or passion that needs nurturing or helping them to become successful members of their Academy community.

The successful Music Teacher must ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning and be able to engage with all students through the passion of Music. The ability to enthuse and show a passion for Music is essential, providing support both in and out of the classroom is a must. You will be teaching Music to KS3, 4 and 5 students. The GCSE and A Level are popular choices and Music teachers with experience of achieving excellence are encouraged to apply. This position would suit a passionate and creative teacher of Music looking for an exciting short term role. The Head of Performing arts and other teachers in the department work as a team and results in the department have been at a very high level for the past few years.

This role would suit an experienced music teacher looking for some short term work in November.

The ideal candidate for this role will;
• Have a passion for Music and be able to pass this to all students.
• Hold valid QTS or be overseas trained.
• Have experience of teaching Music to KS3, 4 and 5.
• Be able to deliver outstanding lessons and progress students of all levels.
• Be able to work in a progressive and enthusiastic department.
