Music Teacher – Permanent – Secondary School – East London – KS3 and 4 – Full Time

 

Are you a Music Teacher who is passionate about music and driven to teach pupils of all ability and progress level? Do you want to work in a progressive East London Secondary school in a well-resourced Music department?

 

Horizon Teachers is working with a friendly, progressive and community based secondary school in East London who are in need of a Music Teacher who is able to deliver Outstanding Music lessons to pupils in KS3 and 4. This is a long term position to start ASAP of Feb 2020.

 

The school located in the heart of East London and has seen massive changes in the past few years. The school is a non-academy and is proud to retain their community feel, the facilities at the school are modern and staff work together to uphold the high standards of the school.  The school is ambitious and supports all staff to progress. This role would suit a newly qualified teacher looking for a great start to their career or an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge.

 

The school are looking for a Passionate Music teacher who;

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in music.
  • Has exceptional subject knowledge and is able to offer a range of Music disciplines.
  • Has recent experience teaching Music to KS3 and 4 in UK secondary schools.
  • Can deliver Outstanding lessons to pupils of all ability
  • Will be able to immerse into the schools community and play a key part in extracurricular activities.
