Are you a teacher who is passionate about modern foreign languages and is looking for a new and exciting role?

Horizon Teachers is currently working alongside a good secondary school in Barnet who is looking to appoint a MFL teacher who is able to teach Spanish and French from KS3 to KS4 standards.
The school is looking for someone who is well qualified and inspirational practitioner able to deliver high quality lessons.

To be successful in your application you must have the following;

  • Evidence of teaching Spanish & French lessons to KS3 and KS4 standards
  • Hold a valid QTS
  • Strong passion for MFL as a subject
  • A proven record of classroom progression
  • Experience of teaching engaging lessons on a daily basis

Your daily duties will consist of the following;
  • Planning and delivering French/Spanish lessons to the highest standard
  • Establishing and maintaining classroom discipline
  • Being a positive role model at all times
  • Monitoring student progression on a daily basis
  • Providing a positive environment in which students can learn
  • Liaising with head of department and seniors when required
  • Attending school assemblies and parents days/evenings

This opportunity is due to start in September with the right person possibly being able to start Easter term.
