Horizon Teachers are seeking a well-qualified Maths Teacher for September 2018, to work full time, on a long term basis at an Ofsted Good' School in Ashford, Surrey.

The school caters for pupils aged 11-16 years, and aims to uphold traditional values that are essential for lifelong achievement. Pupils are encouraged to develop into confident, resilient and responsible citizens, and well-rounded young adults.

Please apply now!A nurturing Key Stage 4 Pupil Referral Unit in Newham are seeking an experienced, resilient and dedicated Maths Teacher to join the team from September 2018. This is a Full Time position to work between the hours of 8.30am and 4pm Monday to Friday term time only. The position will initially be until Christmas but, for the right person, this is likely to continue until the end of the academic year.The school provides places for up to 60 students between the ages of 14 and 16 who are at risk of permanent exclusion or have already been permanently excluded from mainstream education. The majority of students will remain until they complete Key Stage 4 after which the school support students to transition into Further Education. Aside from Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD) students have a range of associated Special Educational Needs (SEN) including ADHD and OCD. Teachers are therefore required to differentiate their lesson plans to students with a variety of needs. Applicants can expect a very warm, welcoming and supportive SLT as well as other Teaching and Support Staff in the school who work closely together to ensure students achieve success. Each member of staff is very positive, friendly and light-hearted greeting students with a warm welcome and establishing strong relationships with all students.
