Learning Support Assistant
Supporting Autism in Year 1

• Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant
• Full time - 1 Year Fixed term contract
• Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.00pm

Would you like a rewarding and challenging role in a mainstream primary school?
You will be working one to one with the student with Autism in year 1.
We are looking for a someone who will be pro-active in supporting SEN and can demonstrate the ability to lead with a firm but fair approach. Be Nurturing and enhance the learning experience of this young person as well as supporting the wider needs of the class.

We are looking for applicants with or without experience but ideally you will have an understanding of how children learn and how to support them.
Relevant qualifications include: CACHE/NVQ in teaching and learning and Graduates of Education/childcare degrees are encouraged to apply.

LSA- Supporting Autism

£60 - £108 per day
Learning Support /Teaching Assistant 1:1 LSA to support Autism in Year 3 Full time role working 8.30am-4.00pm A school in Enfield is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant/ Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with 2 children in a year 3 class. You will be working 1:1 with the students, supporting their learning which will sometimes be outside of the main classroom. They can be challenging so a firm but fair approach will be needed to support them. Experience of working with children with SEN is essential, particularly supporting ASD. The school has a and excellent, established leadership team and very experienced SENCO to support you. About you: A calm, kind and dedicated approach is required. Teaching Assistant - 1:1 support

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant to work with a GOOD Primary School in Brent. This position will involve working on a 1:1 basis with a little boy in Year 4, who needs someone to build a strong relationship with him and offer support and guidance in his learning. At times, he can become distracted and disinterested in his work, and needs someone who can help focus him, or change the activity so that his learning is not interrupted. The position is available due to the current Learning Support Assistant retiring. Initially, the position will be on a temporary basis, and will continue until the end of the academic year. Teaching Assistant - Autism Support

A Primary School in Hackney are looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team of friendly and hard working individuals on a full time basis. The position is to support a boy in Nursery with a statement of Autism (ASD). This role will be to start as soon as the school find their ideal candidate and ongoing until 19th July 2019. The headteacher is hoping to meet with applicants next week for an interview and followed by a trial day working directly with the student. He is very unsettled when working in a classroom with his fellow students. He does have a mild form of Autism and has difficulty communicating and making eye contact with people that he is not familiar with.A strategy is in place to support him out of the classroom as he often becomes very distracted and reluctant to work around his peers.
