This role is a graduate role and would suit someone with a Drama, English or Performing arts background. The ability to enthuse and drive pupils of all ability is essential and you will be responsible for in class support in every lesson.
As a Teaching Assistant you will be working with all pupils, you will support in class as directed by the class teacher and make sure pupils are understanding the content of the lesson. With this in class support having a degree in a core subject is desirable but not essential. You must have passion and a drive to teach and progress students.
The school is outstanding in every area and has an excellent reputation in the local areas as well London wide. Pupils achieve at a very high level and staff retention is at a very high level. For all teaching assistants there is the possibility of a permanent contract.
