Horizon Teachers is currently looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work within the SEND school in South London. This is a good opportunity for an experienced hard working, motivated and ambitious Teaching Assistant to make a real difference.
As a Teaching Assistant you will be working with students with a variety off special educational needs. Students will assisted throughout the curriculum and as a Teaching Assistant you will be required to support in various lessons and across all key stages. The needs of the students will vary so adaptability and the ability to support students with either learning or behavioural needs all will be essential.
The ideal candidate for this role will be adaptable, highly motivated and experienced working with students as either a teaching assistant or a tutor. Experience of working with SEND students will be an advantage but is not essential as the school will offer extensive training to all candidates.
The school itself is located in South London and has excellent public transport links to the centre of London as well as being easily reached by road. They have been rated as Good by Ofsted in their last two inspections and results have been increasing for the past 4 years. The school is on the up and all staff work well together to maintain the highest standards.
