We are working with an Outstanding Secondary school in Tower Hamlets who are looking for talented individuals including Graduates and recent teaching assistants to work in their learning support department as learning coaches. This is an exciting role to use your personal skills and enhance the learning and lives of students of all abilities.

We are looking for passionate and driven people who want to work in a secondary school setting to teach and support students in every curriculum area. This role would suit someone who has a passion learning and supporting children and also individuals who are possibly thinking about teaching in 2019. You will be supporting students in all subject areas, the ability to support children with learning difficulties is essential.

The school is an Outstanding mixed Secondary school located in central Tower Hamlets, Easily accessible by Public transport the school has a great reputation in the local area and links to some of the best Universities in London. This ensures staff have access to the highest levels of training and also the opportunity to train to teach at the school. The school look to invest in staff and will provide weekly training.

The school are looking for applicants from individuals who have;

  • recent in school experience, possibly as a TA since September.
  • A degree or in school experience
  • A passion for education and want to pass this on to others.
  • Experience as a tutor or as a TA within a school setting
  • the desire to work as a Learning coach.

Learning Support Assistant

£60 - £85 per day
Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant- Mainstream Primary school in East London • Are you a graduate with a desire to work in schools? • Do you want to make a difference to children with Special Educational Needs? • Are you already a teaching assistant and would like to further your career and focus on SEN support? If so Horizon Teachers are working with a primary school who have a role for you starting ASAP for the duration of the summer term with a possibility of being extended and continuing into September. Graduate Learning Support Assistant

£60 - £80 per day
Learning Support Assistant Uxbridge £60 - £80 per day Easter start Mixed 11-18 Are you a recent graduate or perhaps and experienced TA/LSA looking for an exciting new opportunity? Horizon Teachers is currently working with a well-known secondary school in Uxbridge (Borough of Hillingdon) who are looking to grow their support staff team which you could be a part of. The school is very popular and oversubscribed mixed six form entry, 11-18 comprehensive school situated in a pleasant residential area in North West London, bordering Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. The school have a track record of real success at all key stages, in 2018 79% of students achieved grades 9-4 in both English and Maths at GCSE and they are consistently ranked in the top 10% of all schools nationally for progress measures and attainment, at A-level 25% if all grades were A* - A and 53% A*-B. The role will mainly be to provide classroom supervision during the short term absence of subject teachers and support student learning, this is an ideal opportunity for candidates who may wish to enter teacher training in the future or apply previous experience of working with young people.
