Horizon Teachers is currently working with an Inner London Secondary School who are in need of a 6th form Support worker to start in September 2018. This is a full time permanent position.

The school require;

  • A Key Stage support worker to oversee enrichment, opportunities and intervention for sixth form students.
  • The successful candidate will organise, communicate and monitor the impact of some exciting and valuable programmes for our students. These include enrichment, work experience, interventions and UCAS applications.
  • You will have recent relevant experience of organisation, administration and mentoring. You will be able to work to tight deadlines and to deal with a range of people including students, parents, employers, staff, visitors and employers. You should be an organiser who enjoys working with young people.

Learning Support Mentors

Learning Support Mentors Horizon Teachers are working very closely with Specialist Special Educations Schools in various locations throughout London and surrounding areas looking to recruit Teaching Assistants and/or Learning Support Mentors who have experience of working with children and young adults with additional needs including Autism, Social Emotional Behavioural Difficulties and Learning Disabilities. Some specialist schools also cater for pupils with Complex Needs such as Severe Learning Difficulties and Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties.
