JOB DESCRIPTION

There is a school based in Sutton seeking a KS2 Special Needs Primary Teacher to join their team in September. The school caters for children who have a diagnosis of ASD and related challenging behaviour.
The school aim to provide a nurturing and structured, calm learning environment which supports their pupils to develop self-belief and a positive attitude towards learning. We believe that children who have autism can learn, make progress and succeed with committed and knowledgeable good autism practice.

Key Skills Required
• Hold a nationally recognised degree and relevant qualified teaching status (QTS)
• Have proven experience of teaching in a Primary setting
• Be experienced working within an SEN setting, ideally with ASD although not essential
• Have experience of planning, delivering and teaching lessons to a good or outstanding level
