Horizon Teachers is looking for an IT Technician to work in a large East London Secondary School
.
The school are looking to appoint an IT Technician who can assist the IT service manager in the efficient operation of the schools ICT systems.

The Key roles for this position will be;
  • To assist in the maintenance of the school's ICT networks.
  • To assist in the installation of new and existing software across the network.
  • To provide technical support for all users, curriculum and administrative.

The school is a large mixed academy with a great location in the borough of Hackney. The school has a friendly staff and a real community feel. The school are looking to appoint a permanent member of staff to start ASAP and assist in the running of the ICT systems.

The role will be to assist in the running of the schools ICT systems as well as upholding the ethos and status of the school.
The position is working in a school so interaction with pupils will be part of the role, you will be required to support pupils in their day to day ICT needs. For this reason any applicant must have an enhanced DBS certificate of be willing to apply for one.
