An opportunity has arisen at a lovely 2 form entry school in Southwark who are looking for an Intervention Teacher to start after the February Half Term. The school are open to applications from teachers with different levels of intervention experience and are more interested in finding someone who would be a good fit for the role. The position will be running until May initially and would consider extending the role for the right person. They are keen to arrange interviews in the upcoming weeks.

About the school

The school is a two form entry and was rated Good with some outstanding features' by OFSTED in their most recent inspection. It is a short walk away from the Northern Line and has excellent transport links. The school pride themselves on being a friendly, caring school with high expectations for all their pupils. The children are encouraged to explore, discover and question through a range of exciting learning opportunities both within and outside the classroom. The school has undergone a brand new development of the building and fantastically bright and colourful.

The Role

- Starting February 2018
- You will be responsible for a small group of children of different age groups on a full time basis.
- Small groups will allow teachers to see the progress of the pupils in close proximity
- The school can offer you a supportive senior leadership team and a creative teaching environment

Specification

- You must hold QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
- Applications from teachers with at least two years of experience welcome
-Satisfy all the eligibility requirements to work in the UK
- Be a creative and enthusiastic practitioner

Year 1 Teacher - Southwark - New in this week! Horizon Teachers have just received a request to find a Year 1 teacher to work in an 'Outstanding' 2-form entry primary school in Southwark. The school benefits from excellent public transport links, a strong management team, supportive parents and well behaved pupils who engage enthusiastically with their learning.
