These are a range of schools across a range of locations, and so regardless of your specialism or where you’re based, we’re sure to have something for you. We have a number of long-term and permanent roles to be filled at these great schools, which will be very popular, so please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us.

You will need:

  • To be a fully qualified teacher/ NQT;
  • To hold a valid DBS certificate, or be willing to apply for one with Horizon Teachers;

Year 1 Teacher (NQT)

£27,596 - £27,596 per annum
Year 1 Teacher (NQT) - Waltham Forest - New in this week! Horizon Teachers have just received a request to find an NQT Year 1 teacher to work in an 'Outstanding' 4-form entry primary school in Waltham Forest. The school uses established schemes of work to support staff.  There will also be a dedicated mentor to ensure you meet the standards of an outstanding Year 1 teacher.  There are also opportunities for rapid career advancement for the right candidate.  The school benefits from excellent public transport links, a supportive management team and well behaved pupils who engage enthusiastically with their learning. Ideally, you should have some experience working in Key Stage 1 during your placements and a comprehensive understanding of the New National Curriculum.  You will also need to provide evidence of QTS and elibility to work in the UK.
