Trainee / Graduate Recruiter

Up to £27,000 per annum plus uncapped commission
September 2018

We love our jobs. We believe in what we do. We help schools with their staffing and with the process of improving the quality of teaching and education in London. We believe in enhancing children's education.

We are looking for motivated, energetic trainee / graduate recruiters to join our training programme to become successful Consultants.

One of our Graduate Trainees said this about us: “Horizon Teachers is a consultancy which provides excellent training, and a very high level of service to Schools, Teachers and Support Staff. Horizon Teachers provides positions within Schools to match any requirements and you will be hard pressed to find a more dedicated and professional team of people. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and highly recommend you give them a call if you are interested in a career in education or recruitment.”

He placed specialist teaching and support staff into schools across London and the South East and one of his temps said this about him: “I worked as a Teaching Assistant through Horizon Teachers for six months. They were incredibly professional and friendly from day one, taking the time to get to know my aspirations and finding me a job very quickly. During my time as a TA, they were always very supportive - my contact would regularly be in touch to check how things were going. I am very pleased with my time with them and have no hesitation in recommending them.”

During his second year with us he earned £26,585.29 in commission – this is on top of his basic salary.

We will train you to reach this level by showing you how to effectively generate high quality candidates and to do relevant, effective business development to help place these candidates into school roles, both temporary and permanent.

This is such a varied and interesting role with no two days the same. Dealing with real people and helping schools solve their real staffing problems gives our staff great job satisfaction.

We are recruiting for all of our teams – working with Primary, Secondary and SEN Schools.

You may be a Teacher looking for a change of direction, or a Graduate with some sales experience seeking an entry level role in recruitment, or perhaps you are a proven Sales Professional with a huge passion for the education sector, in any scenario, we would love to tell you more about this opportunity, so please get in touch.
