Cover Supervisor

Location: North London

Salary: £65 - £100 per day

Job Type: Ad Hoc (As and When) / Flexible

Start date: Immediately

School Information: Mixed Comprehensive State and Free Schools, age range 11-16

We are looking to recruit a proactive and enthusiastic cover supervisors to work in a number of Ofsted graded ‘Outstanding’ and ‘Good’ secondary schools in North London. You will need a DBS check less than 3 years old or be willing to do a new on quickly with us.

This work will be suited for those who are looking for flexible ad hoc work and feel they have the capability to cover KS3-4 classes within mainstream secondary schools. The right candidate will be a high achiever, a forward thinker and also be willing to learn and development in the role. Integrating and successfully working in a team is essential as well as undergoing self development to think of different ways to engage students in learning effectively. Also, if you are an aspiring teacher and want some experience within a secondary school before beginning your teacher training then this would be perfect for you.

There will be training and professional development for suitable candidates throughout the role, with guidance for those who want to further their career into Teaching or other roles within the Education sector.

You are required to have:

·         Excellent organisation and supportive skills

·         Experience working with 11-16 year olds in a school setting

·         A legal right to work in the UK

·         Fantastic behaviour management

·         A passion for student development
