Looking for a fresh challenge from mainstream class teaching in London?

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Float teacher to join the team at a friendly and welcoming independent French/English bilingual school in North West London. The role will be for 2 days per week. The school, which is situated in a beautiful Victorian building, is easily accessible via public transport. Horizon teaching supply staff have commented on the lovely nature of the children at the school and their impeccable behaviour.

The school boosts an impressive 8:1 student-to-staff ratio and 44 after school activities for pupils to choose from. Class sizes are kept smaller than average London class sizes. Teachers will also find the latest technology and teaching resources at their disposal.

The successful teacher will be responsible for teaching the children in English although the ability to speak French up to A Level standard is highly desirable.They will be working as part of a team with a teaching colleague who is responsible for teaching the children lessons in French for half of the timetable. Successful applicants will be able to fully integrate themselves in the community feel within the school and a sense of humour and enthusiasm is warmly welcomed.

Part Time Class Teacher

£150 - £225 per day
A rare part time opportunity is available for a KS2 Teacher at a GOOD Primary School in Hounslow. You will be working Monday to Wednesday, as part of a job share within a Year 5 class. Your job share partner is a very experienced KS2 Teacher who has worked with the school for a number of years. You will be required to take full responsibility for the class for your 3 days per week, including planning, assessments, parents evening and reports. The class are a lovely group of 25 children, with generally very good behaviour. There are a couple of children within the class who you would need to spend some time building a good relationship with, in order to gain their trust. The position is available for an ASAP start, but they are able to wait for the right person as the class is currently being covered by a Teacher internally. Located within the London Borough of Hounslow, the school is easily accessed by public transport from Feltham train station. There is also staff parking available for those who drive. £28,000 - £46,000 per annum
