Religious Studies Teacher

This fantastic school in Wandsworth is looking for an RS Teacher to start in January 2019.

This co-educational comprehensive secondary school has pupils aged 11 to 18 and in 2016 it obtained Ofsted Outstanding status. The school continue to strive for success for its pupils, via a friendly and enjoyable learning environment and great staff. This is a Christian school and the opportunities given to the students, through learning and extra-curriculum activities allow for students to become confident, competent, caring and self-reliant people. The focus is on enabling students to work as individuals as well as part of a team, cooperatively and competitively. The pupils are well behaved and have great ambition which leads to results far above the national average, and it is one of the highest performing non-selective state schools in the borough.

The Religious Studies Teacher role at this school involves being responsible for teaching Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5. This role is purely a teaching role, with no extra pastoral or extra curriculum requirements. With this being a Christian school, there is particular emphasis on RS, which is compulsory up to GSCE level. 

The role is temporary, from January to July 2019, with an opportunity to become permanent following this.
